Labrador Warily Investigates Buffalo Treat
Labrador dogs are curious creatures. Whatever object they encounter along the way, our canine friends make sure to thoroughly familiarize the item before deciding how best to use it.
However, one curious chocolate Labrador can’t seem to decipher what a dried buffalo treat is. Though the pooch naturally investigated the delectable snack, time could only tell when the dog’s ready to eat it.

In this amusing video footage, a healthy chocolate Labrador named Ralph stands by their doorway. With the way the pooch stared at their tiled floor, it looks like Ralph saw something curious on it.
Upon closer inspection, you’ll eventually see a brown, string-like object on the floor. It turns out, the dog’s fur parent gave the pooch a dried buffalo as a snack.
Most dogs by now would’ve immediately gobbled the treat, but Ralph hesitates. Before he ingests the questionable food item, he carefully takes a sniff.
What should I do with you?
Despite smelling the food item, Ralph’s still wary of the buffalo treat. It’s as if the pooch’s afraid to eat it for fear that it’ll attack him out of the blue.
Thus, Ralph jumps backward to distance itself from the delightful treat. For a few seconds, Ralph contented himself with mere inspection of the food until he mustered enough courage to move closer.
With tentative steps, the curious Labrador slowly saunters towards the dried buffalo. Though the snack didn’t move, Ralph still keeps his distance as he carefully switches location.
At some point, the dog even sat across the dried buffalo for a closer look. Even if the item in question didn’t move, Ralph still barked loudly to frighten it a bit.
