Dog is addicted to water

Addiction is difficult to let go of. It's especially true because this dog is addicted to water and has had this obsession for more than six years. Jjokko's family has been trying to get him to stop, but nothing seems to work.

His mom would entice him with toys and even food. Nothing would lure him away from his obsession.

Jjokko, the dog, just can't seem to stop playing with water. That's right. This dog is addicted to water.

Jjokko would gesture to his mom that he wants to get on the sink. Jjokko would then proceed to turn on the water. He would play with the water in the sink for hours.

He would turn the faucet on and off multiple times. This seems to be really fun for him. The mother explained that she never taught him how to turn the tap on and off. Jjokko learned to do it by himself.

When he is done playing, he would even drain the sink himself. Even when he is done playing, he hates seeing the bathroom door closed. His mother would close it to prevent him from playing with the water again.

This does not stop Mandoo as he would go to the shower room when the bathroom is closed. He would go to the bathtub and turn on the water there. His mother is concerned because since he may slip and hurt himself.

Standing in the sink or bathtub is very dangerous for a dog like Jjokko. Unfortunately, that's the only place Jjokko likes playing. He does not enjoy swimming in the pool. All he wants is the water from the sink or bathtub.

The family sought help from a dog trainer. The trainer gave them some tips and strategies. They were taught how to help him get rid of his obsession, and it worked. Jjokko can now control himself not to play with water.

Another dog in the video, Mandoo, has a different obsession, but that's a story for another day. For now, celebrate how a little dog Jjokko overcame his obsession with water.
