Kind-hearted Humans Rescue Sick Dog
There's a myriad of stories about dogs who were abandoned, neglected, or abused by their previous owners. None more so than this great story about some kind-hearted humans who rescue sick dog from waste bin.It's always difficult to understand how cruel the world has been to these pure beings. Most of them were even on the brink of death when they were rescued.
Every rescue story reveals the two faces of human beings. We often start with the image of these humans as heartless and evil because of the terrible things they did to the dogs. As the story progresses, we see humans in a different light. We see their kindness, their capacity to love, and their determination to give suffering dogs another chance in life.
Just in the nick of time
When you pass by a dumpster, the last thing you expect to see is a dog struggling to survive. Unfortunately, that was exactly the sight that welcomed Palhinha Rodrigo when he passed by a garbage pile in Botucatu, Brazil. He documented the whole thing before going online to ask everyone to help save the dog's life.
Luckily, a group of kind-hearted souls was quick enough to respond to Rodrigo's plea. They rescued the dog, whom they fondly call Florzinha, and rushed her to the Municipal Kennel's veterinarian. The doctors groomed her and ran some tests to know how to go about her treatment.
They also discovered that Florinzha has a tumor that needs to be removed immediately. Rodrigo assured everyone who's been following the dog's story that she's in good hands. He also urged them to stop wasting their energy on cursing Florinzha's previous owners. They need to focus all of their efforts on saving her life.
Better days ahead
As of writing, Florzinha's staying with the folks at Petland Botucatu. The staff makes sure she gets to eat and take her medicine regularly. These kind-hearted humans also give her hot baths, which she enjoys very much. Whenever they have time, they take Florzinha on fun car rides around the city (see video below).
