This Young Girl’s Service Dog included in School's Yearbook

The role that a service dog play in people's lives is essential. Most service dogs provide relief as well as understanding to their humans. A Kentucky school wanted to honor the vital role of these service dogs to the lives of their human.

The St. Patrick Catholic School in Louisville, decided to put a photo of Hadley Jo Lange's service dog, Ariel, to their yearbook. The 2019-2020 yearbook is unique because, for the first time in the school's history, a dog's photo was placed beside his owner.

It was Hadley's mother, Heather DeVore Lange, who shared the development on her Facebook account. According to Heather, Ariel played an essential role in the development of her child's skills. Hadley got diagnosed with an epileptic disorder back when she was still a baby. With this, the baby's doctor suggested that it would be best for Hadley's parents to acquire the services of a service pooch.

This is why Ariel arrived in their household. Before the pooch came into the family's life, the dog underwent a series of training. This series of training include control of a person's seizure. It is a difficult task, but Ariel has already gotten used to his role.

According to Heather, they hired the services of the pooch for $20,000. Heather added that it is pricy given the dog's specialty in training. Although it crushed her heart when she learned about her child's disorder, Heather did not lose heart. Heather said it is challenging to raise a child with such a disorder, but she would do everything to normalize her child's life.

Ever since Ariel came into Hadley's life, the kid became happy and positive at life. From time to time, Hadley still experiences seizures, but Ariel always delivers when it comes to saving the kid's life.
